Morning-Visit the picturesque mountain retreat of Kuranda Village, just 25 kilometres northwest of Cairns. It is a vibrant little town surrounded by World Heritage Rainforest. You can also travel to Kuranda on the historic Scenic Railway, or glide above the rainforest canopy on Skyrail - the world’s longest rainforest Cableway. Experience a taste of traditional Aboriginal culture which celebrates the history of the Indigenous people from the area. Learn to play the didgeridoo, discover the medicinal values of the ‘bush tucker’ and also learn how to throw a spear and enjoy professional theatre incorporating traditional Aboriginal culture with dancing, fire making and storytelling.
Afternoon-Cairns Aquarium Cairns newest all-weather attraction, open daily, See the species and habitats from two world heritage listed areas, the wet tropics Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Morning: About 1 hour 30 mins from Cairns city Paronella Park is one of Queensland’s earliest and most popular tourist attractions. Evening-In the evening visit the Cairns Zoom and Wildlife Dome, which is at a walking distance from the CBD and it is situated on the rooftop of the Reef Hotel Casino. With 65 elements of crossing and ziplines, including one which takes you directly over a 4-metre saltwater crocodile.
